How you strengthen the handling of the future and a strategic approach in your organization.

Training courses and seminars about Scenario-Management strengthens the future and strategy competence of the organization and can also be seen as a preliminary stage to more extensive projects. The ScMI AG, which has various experiences in different branches, markets and technology fields, offers three training and seminar programs for managers:

  • The One-Day Intensive Workshop offers a first look at the methodology of the scenario design and the application of scenarios to different fields and topics. Moreover, brief scenarios for a general field (predetermined by the ScMI AG) like "Future of Germany as Industry Location" or "Future of Tourism" are worked out here.
  • The Two-Day Compact Seminar offers an intensive insight in the methodology of the scenario design and in the work with scenarios. In addition, own scenarios are developed during the seminar. A pool with possible seminar subjects is available for this purpose.
  • The Three-Day Intensive Seminar is the premium offer of the ScMI AG; it provides the most intensive and extensive insight in the methodology and the use of scenarios. The development of own, firm-specific scenarios takes here centre stage. Requirements and conception of the seminar are based on topic and number of participants. This seminar is offered only firm-specifically or during multi-client projects.
This basic modules of the Scenario-Management are complemented by two additional modules which are combinable with the different scenario formats:
  • In the additional module "Future Management" , the most relevant instruments for dealing with future developments and strategies are presented. These are apart from trends and prognoses also visions, road maps and planning. Moreover, the interrelations of the different tools, their fields of application as well as their linkage with the Scenario Management are lit up.
  • In the additional module "Strategic Analysis" , the essential instruments for characterizing the initial situation of a strategy process are presented. Some instruments are the business structure analysis, diverse portfolio analyses, the analysis of the competition and of the internal success factors.
All seminars are illustrated by examples from project works of the ScMI AG. The participants are enabled, either to plan the application of the instruments independently or - with simpler formats - to use them also independently.
