Module "Strategic analysis"

Recognize the relevant strengths and weaknesses  

The starting point for a successful strategic orientation is the analysis of the current situation and the foresight to future developments. But how can you filter out the strategically relevant information out of the daily flood of information? And how can you integrate these information into the strategic planning and early warning process? The answer to these questions can be found in the seminar component "Strategic analysis".

This 1-day workshop can be seen as an additional module which can be combined with the other different scenario formats (1-day-workshop, 2-day-seminar, 3-day-seminar). Here the essential methodogical components for the analysis of the current situation within the framework of a strategy process are illustrated. Important aspects are the analysis of the business structure, diverse portfolio analyses, competitors’ analysis as well as the analysis of the internal success factors. Complementary, the trend management deals with the systematisation and evaluation of the current developments in the corporate environment. The objective of the workshop is to provide the participants with an overview of the most important methods of analysis and to make them familiar with the implementation of these methods by experiencing intensive exercises and practical examples.
