Thinking ahead future developments together


Our core business consists of concrete scenarios in customer projects, to develop customer specific questions and hence deviate – if desired – visionary strategies. The base for the project is the method of Scenario Management. During the project process we take primarily the role as presenter as well as a methodical-oriented coaching role. The main content of the scenarios derive from the company or from together identified, external innovators. Based on our experiences in different segments we could therefore secure an intersectional perception.
The project organisation is geared to the individual desires and framings of the customer. Here it is possible to differentiate between three forms:

  • The transfer of the scenario is made by the customer himself.  The support by ScMI AG is limited to the scenario development. For this focus we would like to offer the scenario project and the scenario conference TM. In addition facile questions could be generated within a trend workshop.
  • During the first and also critical phase of the scenario transfer, the ScMI AG accompanies the customer. Here it is possible to discuss questions together e.g. What is the meaning of the scenarios for us? Where are challenges or threats? Are there possible options? Instead, the ScMI AG utilizes extended scenario projects or a scenario conference TM. In the context of a strategy conference it is possible to identify contingent strategy options.
  • The whole process of the decision support will be attended by the ScMI AG. Often the scenarios are integrated in an extensive project plan. These are for example strategy projects, decision supported strategy conference or a roadmapping workshop.
