Finding a strategic direction
The company’s area of actions rather the divisions area of actions could be displayed by strategy scenarios. The combination of this two sets of scenarios takes place in a future matrix, which leads to strategic directions of impact (finding of strategy and visions).
Prospective market potentials, which are tapped by an efficient organisation are the results of a successful entrepreneurial vision. Future market potentials as well as strategic and relevant threats allow to forecast market and environmental scenarios.
Within the scope of multiple coordinated modules first of all external scenarios and afterwards strategy scenarios will be developed. It is possible to diversify the format (several workshops or one compact Scenario conference) and the composition of the participating scenario teams. The design of the future matrix and the deduction of a strategic directions of impact are developed by the strategy team or the executive board.
Where to introduce vision projects:
- As part of the development of external scenarios.
- In line with strategy processes, which could be self-consistent carried out by the company having a vision finding.
- As enlargement of internal strategies (scenario project or scenario conference) – if there exists a heterogeneous possibility or if no explicit direction of impact could be deduced.
