The future of building and living

The German building industry was not one of the most prosperous in the past: Since the middle of the nineties almost one million jobs had to be cut. Furthermore, in the wood and furniture industry substantial growth could not be recorded either. Just during the last years there has been growth in several areas. But still, the building and living industries are facing crucial uncertainties: How will the overall economic data develop? Which role will German companies play on the world market? How will mega cities develop - and how will urban regions in Germany develop? How will we live in the future?

These and other uncertainties are dealt with through Scenario-Management. The ScMI AG has manifold experience concerning the Building and Living Industry as well as concerning the Wood and Furniture Industry. Among others are the following reference projects:
