When applying the impulse word analysis, ideas are derived coincedentally from determined impulse words.

Interdependency Scenarios
Interdependency scenarios are future images, that are based on the systematic connection of trend projections and their probabilities. Cross-impact-analyses are used for the development. This includes a group of methods which try to evaluate the interdependencies between the probabilities of occurance of possible future developments.

Issue Management
Issue management is supposed to identify social conflicts and tensions, showing in the form of so-called "issues", in advance and influence their occurance in a positive way or help to deal with the topic adequately.

Jugular Cycles
Jugular cycles last nine to eleven years on average. Their existence is discussed controversially. They are applied especially in capital and investment-close areas.

Kondratieff Cycles
Kondratieff cycles are long waves with a duration of 50 to 60 years. Their existence is widely accepted - its characterstics concerning duration, importance and classification though are heavily contested.

Learning Organisations
This concept, developed by Peter Senge, is not strictly a methodology but it shows a new mindset which is aligned to the creation of a learning company. Based on the system dynamics-approach possibilities of system-oriented thinking are shown on the basis of several archetypes of cycles. The approach enables the simulation of different workflows within a company and its environment.

Lifecycles
Lifecycles show the typical development of a group of objects from a starting point to an end point. Resulting from this model the future development of an object can be concluded from the present position in the cycle.
