Two well-known addresses in scenario-planning are moving closer together.ScMI has many years of experience in the field of Scenario Management, which describes the systematic creation of future scenarios as well as their use within strategic planning and strategic early warning. St Andrews Management Institute (SAMI) was established in 1989 as a partnership between the University of St Andrews, Shell, BT and Scottish Enterprise. SAMI is research-led and offers support and facilitation to top-managers in the strategic management of their organisations. SAMI has developed Shell's processes for wider use. Since ist foundation SAMI has worked on nearly 100 projects for over sixty organisations in the UK and abroad, utilizing ist network of Fellows who are all seasoned executives.
Within their strategic partnership, ScMI and SAMI, are offering scenario-services on a global basis.
