In the course of the German-wide founder week from 18 to 22 November 2013, the Paderborner GründungsOffensive (Founders offensive), as a network for the economic development society of Paderborn, presented an extensive and diverse range of events.

With his presentation on the Economy of Paderborn by 2030, Dr. Andreas Siebe, himself an experienced founder and CEO of ScMI Scenario Management AG provided interesting food for thought with different perspectives as well as options for action. In the keynote address Dr. Siebe emphasized how important it is to keep an open eye for current developments and changes in order to generate robust strategies to deal with uncertain conditions.

He introduced global, national and regional trends and scenarios in order to derive future potentials for Paderborn as a city as well as business centre. Concrete recommendations for founders, as well as representatives of local institutions laid the groundwork for the subsequent discussion and offered an informative introduction to the founders week for 2013.
