Dr Becker replaces Dr Gert Vaubel as chairman of the supervisory board. Dr Vaubel retires after seven years. Furthermore Prof Dr Wilfried Jungkind (Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe in Lemgo) became new member of the board and will support Bernd Reike as the second deputy chairman. Dr Becker thanked Dr Vaubel for his longterm activity. Dr Alexander Fink and Dr Andreas Siebe, ScMI Management board, called Dr Vaubel a stroke of luck.

Dr Becker is a representative of the regional medium-sized businesses. He did his doctor degree at the Institute of Marketing of the University Muenster and with doctoral adviser Prof Heribert Meffert.  Since 1983 he is general partner of the Fritz Becker KG in Brakel.
