Scenarios in a new way: The POCO app
The process of developing the customer app for POCO Einrichtungsmärkte GmbH shows just how diverse the possible applications of Scenario ManagementTM are. In 2020, the furniture retailer from Bergkamen launched a project with the aim of expanding its retail media portfolio with the addition of an independent retailer app. On this basis, POCO and ScMI AG launched a joint consulting project.
As a result of the overall process, a detailed implementation plan was created, which made precise statements on the functional design of the 76 subject areas in total. A specification sheet served as the central element for the tendering of the development service. Thanks to the precise description of the requirements, the selection process for a suitable agency was quick and goal-oriented.
After completing the development work, the time had come in January 2023. The POCO-App saw the light of day and can still boast impressive download figures to this day. We at ScMI are proud to have been part of this journey and wish POCO and all customers lots of fun using the new platform.
