Scenarios as maps of the future – in one way or another scenarios can be better understood if many different futures are mapped together. Consequently, ScMI provided a “map room” during their icebreaker-session at the 2016 DTIM-Conference in order to introduce the Scenario-Management approach.
The future of our groceries – planning possible futures and acting strategically with scenarios. Dr. Alexander Fink held a lecture on this topic at the members’ meeting of the “agriculture and nutrition forum Oldenburger Münsterland” in Emstek.
On the 26th and 27th of February 2015, the fourth DTIM conference, which is the leading German speaking event concerning the topics “Foresight and Disruptive Technologies”, took place in Berlin.
Thanks to systematically developed scenarios concerning market environments, companies dispose of the description of single possible futures as well as of a map, which shows different development possibilities. Dr. Alexander Fink describes the transfer of such scenarios into strategic decision processes in an article for the book “market and sales potentials”, written by Oliver Gansser and Bianca Krol from the “FOM University for Economics and Management”:
In celebration of the 48th congress of the German Market Research in Berlin, the Price of the German Market Research was awarded for the ninth time on the 22nd of April 2013 at the ceremonial gala event.
More than 40 participants visited the „Trendlab" organized by the ScMI AG to try out creating robust strategies via the way of future scenarios.
In their contribution „In Zukünften denken“ (“Thinking in futures”) to changeX, Alexander Fink and Andreas Siebe deal with the possibilities of future management.
At the 10 year jubilee of the Trendforum at Berlin E Werk, ScMI once again took part as a partner.
